Nascetta, along with Timorasso and Trebbiano, is possibly the best white grapesort in Italy. Indigenous of the Langhe area, Enrico´s vineyards for Nascetta are alongside those of Nebbiolo and since we are in Serralunga d´Alba we simply can say that we find ourselves in one of the best terroirs on Earth. Golden yellow, the Nascetta Terracotta has a 4 months´s skin fermentation and spends some more months in terracotta jars (amphoras). The result is a medium to full bodied white wine, intense, complex and persistent, expressing notes of peach skin, apricot skin, quince, kumquat and a beautiful persistent salinity. Ageing potential: +10 years. Service temperature: 12-13C. Glass: Burgundy red.
